Our Philosophy

At Continuus, our purpose is to enrich lives of those we work with through data. We do that by leveraging our unique combination of tech expertise, domain experience, and human touch to meet our employees’ and customers' everyday needs. We believe that if we do right by our employees and clients first, the rest will fall into place.

Our Story

Continuus Technologies was founded in 2011 by CEO Matt Moeser when he identified a need in the market for IHS Markit EDM implementations in the Financial Services sector. Operating as a one-man team, Matt landed his first client, a global investment management firm, and was soon inundated with work. He took the leap and hired his first consultant, a fellow Markit EDM wiz, in 2015.

After expanding the EDM team even further, Continuus hired a wave-maker in the data world to help establish its Business Intelligence and Data Science practice. The addition of these services led to a growing team of BI consultants and partnerships with Tableau, Alteryx, and more. By 2018, the company grew to over 30 employees and our client base continued to expand. We moved into our first office space in 2019, officially establishing our headquarters in the heart of Milwaukee’s bustling Third Ward and starting long-term projects with two massive enterprise accounts.

In the midst of the global pandemic, Continuus landed three more impressive enterprise accounts and received its first national recognition as one of the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies by Inc. Magazine. We were also noticed locally, landing among the top spots of Milwaukee’s Coolest Offices and Milwaukee’s Fastest Growing Firms by the Milwaukee Business Journal. During this time, we also recognized the widespread need for Data Modernization and Cloud-First solutions and began sharpening our skills and building our team of cloud data experts. After doubling in size in 2020 and through 2021, we achieved Snowflake Select Partner status. We also added top-tier Data Engineering and DevOps pros to our team in 2021, allowing us to formally establish that practice and offer that service to new and existing clients.

2022 was a year of internal focus, ensuring our foundation was still strong and our culture was consistent. Our growth was rapid and thrilling, and our leadership team identified immediately that we needed to double down on the value that Continuus was built on since its inception, or that growth would mean nothing. 2022 was also a year of “firsts.” We hosted our 1st Annual Company Retreat in Milwaukee, which brought almost every employee together in one state for the first time ever. Achieving Premier Partner status with both Alteryx and Snowflake was the icing on the cake, and we look forward to expanding our depth to better serve new and existing partners and clients.

With our expertise still lying in Financial Services, Data Modernization, and Cloud-First Solutions, Continuus Technologies continues to serve its very first client and expand simultaneously. With our growth comes exciting opportunities and new challenges, but we are proud that the foundation of our culture has remained the same and are excited to continue leading with a people-first mindset, as we have since day one.
